PRESENTATION OF THE ASSOCIATION

MEMBERSHIP INFORMATIONS - A.I.C.C. is the Italian Cane Corso’s association, our goal is the tutelage of the Cane Corso Italiano breed. A.I.C.C. was established on January 10, 1998 with the official act by notary Dott. R Grasso in Arenzano (Genoa). The group of the founding members wanted, immediately with this act, to create the basis of a breed club with the indispensable credentials to carry out the work of tutelage of the breed and have the title for relationship with the Italian kennel club (E.N.C.I.) and the agricultural Ministry. This with the consciousness that a good guide of the Italian Cane Corso club is very important for the success and the correct development of the breed in all countries. For these reasons AICC has engaged itself in the zootechnic activity and in contacts with the breed clubs of the other countries.
This is a short report about our activity in these two years:
June 1998 the first AICC meeting in Casalpalocco (Rome) n. 103 corsos are present
August 1998 official visit in Holland on invitation of the C.C.C.N (Cane Corso Club Nederland), the two vice president are the judges of the show
November 1998 AICC present the research "Looking for the origins" in which is written about the war use of the Corsos in 1137 and the medieval kennels in Montopoli di Sabina (the research is published in the link "history deepening")
June 1999 a round table on the hip dysplasia- comment about the document of the dott. Shirley Halley’s relation.
June 1999 Casalpalocco (Rome)AICC annual meeting n. 76 corsos are present
August 1999 Utrecht the AICC ‘s president is the judge of the annual meeting organized by C.C.C.N.
August 1999 A.I.C.C. establishes a dialogue with the I.C.C.F. (International Cane Corso Federation) the most important american Cane Corso association.
October 1999 Pisa- seminary with topic "the genetics in the breed selection" and "zootechnic elements"
March 2000- the ICCF modifies its standard; it has now become very similar to the F.C.I. standard (now the dogs are compatible). In this period the AICC was very close to the ICCF members and encourage their activity also with public declarations (for the modifications in the ICCf standard, the AICC members have great admiration and respect for our ICCF friends)
June 2000- an official AICC delegation visits the ICCF meeting in Washington D.C., in this occasion the relationships between the associations are strengthened.
August 2000 the AICC president Renzo Carosio is, for the third time, the judge at CCCN meeting in Utrecht, (55 the dogs present )In the link the "News" you can read the future events in the period of September/October (ICCF delegation in Italy/AICC 3° meeting in Pisa / ICCF seminary)
THE RULES - This site is for all the passionates of the Cane Corso breed. Education and respect toward others are indispensable. Commercial publicity is not permitted. All text is covered by copyright, it is prohibited to copy and use images or text without the authorization of the A.I.C.C.
RX official results – The owners or the breeders members of the AICC can put their dogs in the list. For this, you need to send a copy of the document with the result of the official RX, with the name of the dog, the number of inscription at the official register, the date of the examination and the score. AICC informs that periodically the results present in the list will be controlled by the official centre for the hips dysplasia, signatory of the certification. With the request to register the dog for Rx official result, the applicant authorizes AICC for the use of the data and accepts the rules written in the AICC site.
PHOTO GALLERY - The owners and the breeders AICC members can request to have the photos of their dogs posted. For this you need to send a copy in jpg format of the original photo, write the dog’s name, the owners and the breeder (at least one). AICC will decide the use of the photo and if it will be published. With the consignment of the photo (original or file), the applicant authorizes AICC for the use of the photo and of the data and accepts the rules written in the AICC site.
FORUM AICC - This link does not have different languages, because this is an italian /international site, it’s preferable for the Italians to write in Italian with the translation in English, all others please write in English. Texts in others languages will be deleted. It’s preferable to use the real name for respect of all.
